Description

Household window bracket (hereinafter referred to as “Bracket”) is a unique invention to clear a window-sill space as well as hang different size and form household items to the pre-made frame.

Bracket is a 3-dimensional solid part in the shape of a triangle in profile with stiffening ribs and a clamping mechanism for fixing to the window frame. It has a vertical anti-slip edge for holding on the window frame, an upper horizontal edge with longitudinal open groove for installation and fixation of the metal frame to hang the household items, products, accessories and articles.

Mission

Bracket allows to clear the window-sill space and provide an easier access to the window.

Fixation

An easy-removable mechanism allows to change and adjust height of the bracket on the window frame.

Functionality

It can be used to hang shelves, pallets, baskets, and flower pots, storage trays for vegetables and fruits as well as special items for wash drying or small vases with fresh flowers.

Weight capacity

Up to 5 kg owing to the fastening mechanism and anti-slip surface. Please note, special metal supportive frames are required for wide windows. More videos with loading tests see here.

Bracket is made of plastic and is specified with small dimensions:

  • thickness: 1.3 cm
  • height (long rib): 10 cm
  • width (short rib): 5 cm
  • total weight about: 25 g

Installation

Two brackets shall be placed to the unfastened metal frame and fixed along the sides to the bracket grooves. The frame shall be joined by a socket or joint nut. Legs of L-screw shall be adjusted behind the window frame and fixed by the bracket handle rotated. More details with installation process see in presentation

Accessories

Metal frame or other variations shall be a platform to hang the household accessories: trays, pots, pallets, shelves etc. As all the windows and window frames are non-standard and designed under the individually, production of the loadbearing frames requires personalize approach taking into account of dimensions of windows and hanging items.

Restrictions

If the bracket is fixed to the window touching the wall it is impossible to fully open it without a bracket removal. It is not recommended to assemble the brackets at the same level (not so far) with window handles. The accessories are placed the shelf may interfere with handle rotation.
